It’s back to the real world after a few days of fun, sun and great times in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, for the 12 winning dealerships in the Foundation Fiesta 2 contest that ran February 1st through April 30th. The trip, which ran from June 18-June 21, treated dealers to an amazing time as a reward for their business and loyalty.
Wednesday: Guests were greeted with airport transportation in an open-air safari bus and got to experience the thrill of left lane driving as they made their way to the luxurious Marriott Frenchman’s Reef resort in St. Thomas. The hotel is home to multiple swimming pools, beautiful grounds and an amazing stretch of beach that tempted guests immediately. The winning dealers met in the evening for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres to get to know each other.
Thursday: Guests were taken on a guided tour of St. Thomas, including a visit to Mountain Top – the highest point on the island and birthplace of the banana daiquiri as well as the botanical gardens and nature trail. After a delicious lunch at Cuzzin’s, a local favorite, guests had time to shop and sight see before returning by ferry to the hotel. In the evening, guests were treated to a private dinner at the Blue Orchid Restaurant as the sun set over the water. Many said it was the best meal they had ever eaten … and the mango cheesecake was to die for!
Friday: Guests enjoyed a boat ride to neighboring St. John, home of some of the most beautiful terrain and beaches on the planet. A tour of the island led guests to some beautiful lookout points, the historic ruins of a sugar cane plantation and finally, to Trunk Bay, one of the world’s best beaches. There, guests experienced great swimming and snorkeling before returning to the hotel. In the evening, a casual, private dinner cruise on “The Cat” provided a great way to wind down the day.
As the weekend rolled in, some guests headed home and others chose to extend their stay in one of the most beautiful places on earth … who can blame them?
