According to the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Remolding Market Index survey, in 2015, the two most common home improvement projects were bathrooms (81%) and kitchens (79%). Finishing out the top five most common remodeling projects in 2015 are whole house remodels (49%), room additions (47%) and window/door replacement. See the chart below for the full survey results.
