Everyone’s comfort level is different, but external temps inevitably drop and homeowners’ heaters inevitably power on. When they don’t power on or suddenly stop working, a panicked homeowner will call a local HVAC business for a fast repair or replacement–regardless of their financial means.

Realistically, most homeowners don’t ‘save up’ for an HVAC breakdown, and the expense to repair or replace an HVAC unit isn’t exactly pocket change.  But you can easily capture or upgrade a panicked sale with an attractive in-house financing program. Wright Kimbro, FFC’s HVAC bus. dev. mgr., recently spoke at the EGIA Lead conference on how financing helps HVAC contractors grow their sales and build long-term relationships with clients. Kimbro emphasized: “Providing financing to a lower-credit consumer creates a customer for life. They are grateful for the HVAC contractor solving their problem and will use that contractor again down the road…and tell other people about the contractor.”
